About Antulio Tarazona

After completing his PhD in 1997 in Physics at the University of Düsseldorf, preceded by a Master in Electronics from the Tohoku University, Antulio had a successful carrier in the corporate environment working for the BOC Group. He had a wide range of technical and commercial roles from R&D Engineer to European manager for the supply of materials and services to the main semiconductors companies. In 2006, He left BOC to form his own company and raised the capital to develop his own silicon CVD business and filling 3 key patent aspects of his ideas, which have all now been granted. His team completed the development and building of their first CVD system in December 2009, financed by a TSB grant and private capital, which was destined for the SNC of the University of Southampton, Collaborative partner within the TSB project. Since the installation of the Hot Wire CVD in February 2010, Antulio has been associated with the University of Southampton in different capacities until April 2014 who accept a research fellowship in the “Silicon Photonics for Future Systems” programme.1.
